Thank you Skye. I love the phrase 'silence is the matrix of possibility'. It reminds me of what Thomas Merton said, that we should not "neglect the silence that is printed in the center of our being. It will not fail us. It is more than silence. Jesus spoke of the spring of living water, remember." I also love what Mother Teresa said about the need to meditate each day. She said that in meditation we remind ourselves that we are loved. But then have to give the love away.
