Hi friends. We’ve got three Zoom calls this month — one of which is open to the public, so please invite your friends! First, the “public” meeting!
July 22: A Special Presentation based on The New Big Book of Christian Mysticism
On Wednesday, July 22 at 7 PM Eastern time our gathering will include Centering Prayer followed by a presentation from yours truly on the Preface and Chapter 1 of The New Big Book of Christian Mysticism. The intention here is to read through the book together, but beginning with a talk in which I share some behind-the-scenes info on the writing of the book, with an eye to exploring mysticism not only as a topic of historical interest but as a living invitation into a deeper spirituality for each of us, here and now. After my presentation (which will be recorded for you to watch later), we’ll have time for questions and answers and for us all to reflect together on how we can move together into a deeper mystical/spiritual life.
