Carl, I thought that so many points you made in this article about Jesus, mysticism, and dualistic and non dualistic thinking, were beautifully and clearly stated. I will refer to them often. Thank you.

Thank you Carl for this insightful article. It would appear that you're yet to address Gary's question re the cross of Christ, or the crucifixion of Jesus, and presumably the scriptures that record his resurrection. Hopefully this will be covered in a follow up Substack. Thank you so much for your inspirational writing.

You're right, I was thinking about Jesus in general, because it seems to me that the cross/crucifixion can only be as important as Jesus is. A follow up article really would be more of the same: following Julian of Norwich, I would argue that if the crucifixion is salvific, it is Christ's love that saves us, not the fact that he was brutally executed or the manner of that execution.

Carl, I've appreciated your information and WISDOM for a long time, books and emails. Thank you.

In this post, the writer specifically asked if the cross and resurrection were necessary for salvation. Dualism aside, you never specifically said yes or no. Your final statements indicated maybe no, but I wish you would expand on the no somewhat more.
