Friends, I’m participating in a spiritual summit this November called the “Who Am I” Conference. It’s a free online event (with paid options to download the audio and replay the video at your own pace). Click here to register.
Hosted by Bill Free, the summit includes some amazing speakers like Rami Shapiro, Rupert Spira, Amoda Maa, and Lisa Natoli, among many others. Many of these teachers are well known for teaching non-duality from an interspiritual or perennialist perspective. I felt so honored when I was asked to part of the team.
My session will be on November 13, and the title is “Don’t Call Yourself a Mystic — Just Be One.” I hope you’ll be able to join in!
Especially if you’re interested in purchasing the replay option, register now — there’s a 20% discount available until September 28. Click here to register.
Here’s more information about the summit, from the conference organizers:
Join us for a co-creative three-day online gathering with 28 global wisdom teachers and thousands of people from around the world to explore and experience one of the most fundamental questions of life:
Who am I?
IN A WORLD OF CHANGE, WHAT REMAINS UNCHANGED?
Whether life currently feels peaceful or turbulent, whether we’re navigating the ordinary rhythms of family, work, relationships, and health or responding to profound changes in the world, we are continually invited to discover what remains unchanged.
Beneath the changing circumstances of our lives, we naturally seek something stable in the midst of what is inherently unstable.
Perhaps this is why the deepest question of life is not merely philosophical, but profoundly practical:
Who am I, really?
Prior to thought, personality, belief, ideology, role, history, or identity…
What remains when all that changes?
Across the world’s contemplative and nondual wisdom traditions, this timeless inquiry has pointed beyond spiritual theory toward something that can be directly experienced and recognized.
The invitation is to discover what has always been here.
An Exploration of Who We Truly Are
Over three days, we’ll explore this timeless inquiry through direct experience, contemplative wisdom, and the unique perspectives of teachers from around the world.
01 — Discover What Remains Unchanged
Our identities, circumstances, thoughts, emotions, and experiences continually change. Self-inquiry invites us to turn our attention toward that which does not come and go—to the aware presence that is here before, during, and after every experience.
02 — Explore the Nature of “I”
What do we actually mean when we say I? Is the “I” we ordinarily take ourselves to be—our personality, history, beliefs, roles, and conditioning—the whole of what we are? Through self-inquiry and direct experience, we’ll explore what remains prior to these changing expressions of identity.
03 — Meet Life from What You Truly Are
Self-knowing doesn’t end with an inner realization. As our understanding of who we are changes, so does our relationship with life—with one another, with difficulty, with suffering, and with the world we collectively participate in.
Not through ideology. Not through force or effort, but through Consciousness becoming conscious of Itself.
One Question. Many Voices.
Across cultures, centuries, and spiritual traditions, the question “Who am I?” has appeared in many forms—yet the invitation at its heart is remarkably similar.
Our speakers bring diverse expressions of contemplative and nondual wisdom, including Advaita Vedanta, Buddhism, Christian Mysticism, Kabbalah, Sufism, A Course in Miracles, and other pathways of direct inquiry and awakening.
Together, these voices offer not a single prescribed answer, but an invitation to look for yourself.
Explore the Question from Many Perspectives
This year’s gathering brings together 28 global wisdom teachers and authors, including Rupert Spira, Francis Lucille, Shakti Caterina Maggi, Sunny Sharma, Alan Cohen, Billy Doyle, Helen Hamilton, Jeffery Long, Dan Schmidt, Av Neryah, Roger Castillo, Tom Das, Louise Kay, Amoda Maa, Lisa Natoli, Shaykh Burhanuddin Hermann, Keith Kavanagh, Carl “Skye” McColman, Anne Sweet, Peter Mitchell, Rabbi Rami Shapiro, Oliver Blue, Jenny Beal, Kavi Jezzie Hockaday, Jon Mundy, Stephen Bodian, Lilla Balint, and Bill Free.
Across three days, these diverse voices will explore the question Who am I? through self-inquiry, direct experience, contemplative wisdom, and their own lived experience and traditions—offering not a single prescribed answer, but many doorways through which to look for yourself.
Who Am I?
What if genuinely knowing the answer changes everything?
